Alex Lipsky Inducted as Secretary of Long Island Builders Institute
Builders Institute by Gubernatorial Candidate Bruce Blakeman and Supervisor Dan Panico
LONG ISLAND, NY – The Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) officially inducted Alex Lipsky as Secretary of the Board of Officers during its Annual Membership and Induction Dinner. The ceremony was led by Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico.
Lipsky, President of Lipsky Construction, has been an active member of LIBI for 15 years. During the induction, he was presented with formal letters of proclamation from both Executive Blakeman and Supervisor Panico. Both officials emphasized the importance of the construction and development sectors in driving the economic growth and stability of the Long Island region.
This appointment comes during a period of significant recognition for the Lipsky leadership team. Recently, Long Island Business News named Alex and Joel Lipsky to the 2025 “Top 100 Long Islanders” list, citing their influence within the local business community.
As Secretary, Lipsky joins the executive leadership team alongside Chairman Anthony Bartone and President Jon Weiss. In this role, he will help oversee the institute’s administrative functions and strategic initiatives. He also continues to serve as the Chairman of the Membership and Networking Committee, where he focuses on expanding the organization’s reach and professional resources.
